Every great discovery starts with a question. Ours was simple: what if we could run the ultimate longitudinal experiment—one that would last a lifetime, demand everything we had, and change our world in a way no paper ever could?

We designed the protocol with care: a lot of research, doctors' appointments, and trust in the process. No IRB could approve this. No grant could fund it. It was just us, a hypothesis, and a due date.
